Mistress Tan.... Although at times looking somewhat serious in her photo's, she really
is a very warm, caring and friendly person, even in spite of being naturally Dominant.
She has a wicked sense of humor and tries to see life as the "cup half full". 
She cherishes her privacy and lives life to the fullest.
       
 Mistress Tan is a women in her 40's born in Australia, although she has lived in Sydney, Adelaide, 
Perth, Melbourne and Vancouver Canada. She has traveled extensively around the world
 and enjoys meeting people from all walks of life. .  

Mistress Tan enjoys traveling, photography and riding her motor bike and although
the scene is a large part of her life, it's not her whole life. She is interesting, diverse,
creative and outside of Hush a very private person. 


Mistress Tan is Very passionate about many things, one in particular is "good  customer service"
in all area's of business. She felt there was a need in Melbourne for a D/s  function catering
 to new people  as her own experiences in attending BDSM venues in Melbourne was cold, 
bleak and unfriendly. Paramount in her mind was creating a Friendly and Safe 
atmosphere for her patrons.  
       
 Mistress Tan's warm personality and patience with new people has won her the respect and loyal 
support of many people from this scene. Her unique talent of making people feel comfortable
 and at ease is a gift and one she utilizes in abundance at Hush Now.


Mistress Tan works tirelessly in promoting, educating and empowering  new people about safe, 
responsible and consensual play in D/s. She has been interviewed by various magazines 
and TV shows such as BENT TV (below) and various radio stations, as well as recently
holding a forum at Monash University about BDSM. Due to not only holding her Hush Now
functions in other states around Australia but also her video and radio show,
 Mistress Tan has a very high public profile as one of Australia's most well know and 
respected Mistresses in the BDSM scene. 
       

 I personally believe it's thanks to Mistress Tan's dedication and persistent drive to promote the 
softer sides of BDSM, through her club Hush Now, that she has single-handedly catapulted
 the word FUN into BDSM and D/s in Australia on a monumental scale. Prior to her 
functions  the  "F" word in BDSM was not something I ever read or heard much
 about, nor was it greatly used by those I knew in the scene. She has been
 a catalyst  in spreading her motto "If you're not just lov'in it then 
don't do it" throughout the community and this  has now been 
something many people having picked up and ran with.   

In my humble opinion, to say she is a wonderful asset to this community, 
is a vast understatement.

Over the years I have been very fortunate to have a number
of people assist me at Hush and now that our functions are only
small, my loyal and wonderful helper Reb has continued to support me
and is the friendly and warm person you will first meet when you come to Hush.

Meet Reb

Reb has been coming along to Hush Now for a number of years and he is the very
clever man who made our hot pink cage! After years of quietly blending into the crowd at
Hush Now Reb finally came out of his shell emerging as a very informative and helpful
 assistant at Hush Now eager to chat to new people and make them feel welcome.
Being a switch reb often offers his back, butt and at times, whole body as the testing ground
for new Dom/Dommes to have a try at light play or bondage. He is very patient and happy to
 assist any new people with not only information about the scene but hands on experience as well!
